At Emuverse Retro Games, accessible from emuverse.studio, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Emuverse and how we use it.
Emuverse Retro Games does not collect any personal data or private information from its users beyond what is described in Section 3 (Account, Sign-In and Cloud Sync) for users who choose to sign in. The application otherwise operates locally on your device to ensure maximum privacy.
The app requires access to your device's storage solely to scan and load game ROM files. This data is processed only on your device and is never uploaded to any external servers or shared with third parties.
If you choose to sign in with your Google Account, we collect your email address and use it, together with Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, to sync your play statistics, save-state unlock progress, and premium subscription status across your devices. This data is stored under your Google account identifier and is never sold or shared with third parties beyond Google's own Firebase infrastructure, which processes it solely to provide this cloud-sync functionality. To request deletion of your account data, email support@emuverse.studio from your registered Google account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will delete your email address, cloud save data, play statistics, and premium subscription record from our Firebase database within 30 days of a verified request. Settings and game files stored locally on your device are not affected by this process and can be removed at any time by uninstalling the app. Signing in is entirely optional; the app remains fully usable without it.
We use Google AdMob for advertisements and Google Play Billing for in-app purchases. These services may collect device identifiers and anonymized usage data to provide their services under their own respective privacy policies. Where required by law (EEA, UK, Switzerland), we request your consent for ad personalization via Google's User Messaging Platform before showing personalized ads; you may change this choice at any time from within the app.
Emuverse stores only your preferences (volume settings, scanned folder paths, save states) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you manually export or move your files, or unless you sign in as described in Section 3.
Emuverse is an emulator only and does not include any game ROM files. Users are solely responsible for the ROM files they load. You must own the original software or have the legal right to use any ROM files you play.
